Welcome to Dempsey Farms in Beaufort South Carolina. Where you pick your very own vegetables! I love walking through the seemingly endless rows of gorgeous tomatoes and peppers. Their cantelope is addictive, and don't even think of taking my watermelon.

There is something so simple, so basic, so very amazing about picking food directly from the vine, knowing that when I pay, I am supporting local farmers, local families, and local charm.
